Monica Ellen Craig- Garner, 63, of Delavan, passed away at 11:40 PM on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria. She was born on April 19, 1961 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of Melvin and Marcella (Giebelhousen) Craig. They preceded her in death.
Also, preceding Monica in death is her daughter, Susan M. Henderson.
Surviving is her son, Keith Allen Garner of Delavan; brothers, Michael E. (Vickie) Craig of Metamora; Mark Craig of Pekin; Marvin (Brenda) Craig of Kilbourne; sister, Marilyn (Stan) Schmidgall of Tremont; son-in-law, Kevin Henderson of Morton, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved cats, Churchie & Asher.
Monica worked as a Home Healthcare Professional at Help at Home in Springfield, and was a licensed Cosmetologist. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Bartonville, and enjoyed fishing, growing flowers, jigsaw, crossword & word search puzzles, and playing cards at the Delavan Card Club.
