Lila Mae Harmon, 87, of Canton, IL, passed away peacefully at 9:02 AM on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at Clayberg Nursing Home in Cuba, IL. She was born on April 23, 1937 in Independence, IA to Verne and Gladys (Cornwell) Dilts.
She is preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and one son, Randy.
Lila is survived by three sons, Rick (Theresa) Harmon of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Mike Harmon of Canton, IL, and Chris (Kathi) Harmon, of Canton, IL; other distant children she loved, Vickie and Rene; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She had a special bond with her grandson, Michael Alex Harmon who was by her side during her final moments.
She loved working in her yard, her beloved dogs, Butch and Luke, and sewing her special pot holders that she loved giving away.
In lieu of services, her wishes were for there to be a small family gathering. Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Memorials may be made under the name Lila
